A photorealistic Basque pelota bounces across three inclined planes in real time, simulated with RealityKit’s built-in physics engine. The 3D model carries photorealistic textures — unusual in the world of URDF viewers — and was captured via photogrammetry from a souvenir bought in Hendaia.
The same model and physics setup was also rendered in Blender for comparison, showing how assets created on the phone translate to desktop 3D pipelines.
Key points
- Real-time RealityKit physics on inclined surfaces
- Photorealistic, photogrammetry-scanned USDZ asset
- Textured 3D rendering uncommon for robot viewers
