The TM5-900 is Techman Robot’s signature collaborative arm — the model that established the brand’s defining feature: a 5-megapixel color camera built directly into the robot’s wrist, giving every arm built-in machine vision (1D/2D code reading, product identification, part location) without a separately-mounted camera system. A 4 kg payload and 900 mm reach make it suited to light assembly, pick-and-place, and inspection tasks.

The mechanism

Six revolute joints in series form a textbook 6-axis serial arm — no mimic joints, no closed kinematic loops, every movable joint an independent actuator, matching Techman’s own “6-axis” naming exactly. Real, non-zero mass and inertia are declared for every structural link, totaling close to the arm’s real ~22.6 kg weight.

About these files — read before importing

This links directly to the official tmr_ros2 repository, published under Techman Robot’s own GitHub organization, unmodified. Like Doosan’s M1013 in this gallery, the URDF here is not expanded from xacro at import time — Techman’s own repository already commits the fully-expanded, tooling-generated URDF, so Open in ARMOR downloads exactly what Techman publishes, verbatim.
