ROBOTO_ORIGIN is Shanghai RoboParty Technology’s fully open-source bipedal humanoid — 1.25 m tall, 34 kg, built to be assembled independently from parts sourced through common Chinese consumer supply chains (Taobao procurement, JLC3DP prototyping). RoboParty has open-sourced the robot’s entire R&D process: mechanical structure, electronics, training, and deployment code, not just the description files this gallery links to.

The mechanism

Twenty-three revolute joints, all independently actuated — no mimic joints, no closed kinematic loops. Each leg carries six joints (hip yaw, roll, and pitch, knee, ankle pitch and roll), each arm carries five (shoulder pitch, roll, and yaw, elbow pitch and yaw), and a single torso joint connects the upper and lower body. There are no hands — the arms end at the wrist.
